What to Expect
Here’s how to get started with speech therapy services for your child

1. Initial Contact
Start by filling out the contact form on my website to express interest in speech therapy for your child. Provide details such as your child’s age, your area(s) of concern, and whether you are looking for services at home or at school.
Once we connect, we can determine if we are a good fit for working together based on schedules and the type of support you are seeking.

2. Schedule an Evaluation
The next step is to schedule a formal evaluation* to assess your child’s skills and areas of need. The assessment will be tailored to your area(s) of concern and might focus on articulation, expressive language, receptive language, or a combination of these areas.
*If your child has had a recent evaluation from another SLP, it may be possible to skip this step and move straight to scheduling therapy sessions.

3. Results and Next Steps
After the evaluation, you will receive a report summarizing the results and my recommendations for subsequent therapy sessions.
If we decide to move forward with regular sessions, we will schedule those at this time. I will keep you updated on progress and goal achievement throughout your child's therapy sessions.
