About
My background and approach to therapy

Certified Speech Pathologist
with a passion for early intervention
I am an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatric therapy. My work focuses on speech sound disorders and early language development. With five years of experience as a pediatric speech therapist, I’ve developed a passion for helping children build strong communication skills from a young age. I find great fulfillment in working with and coaching parents on how to support their child’s early language development through play and everyday interactions. Watching children learn to communicate in a way that works best for them is incredibly rewarding. I also love treating speech sound disorders because of the immediate and impactful changes it can bring to a child’s life, helping them speak clearly and be understood by those around them.
I currently work as an early intervention speech therapist and have a toddler at home myself, so I truly understand the joys and challenges that come with early childhood development. My goal is to make therapy a positive and collaborative experience for both children and their families. I look forward to helping your child thrive in their communication journey!
My Approach

to speech and language therapy
In my speech therapy practice, I take a family-centered approach that values the important role parents play in the therapy process. From the start, I work closely with families to develop personalized goals for their child, ensuring that everyone is aligned and involved. I actively coach parents on how to use the strategies I employ during therapy, and I will often provide home practice recommendations so families can reinforce skills at home between sessions. By partnering with caregivers, I aim to create a collaborative relationship that supports consistent progress.
I also prioritize motivation and success in my therapy sessions. I take a strengths-based approach by building upon what a child already does well to boost their confidence and engagement as they work towards their goals. Additionally, I incorporate each child’s personal interests into therapy sessions to keep them motivated and excited about their progress. Whether I’m following their lead during play or creating activities that reflect their interests, I ensure therapy feels fun and relevant. This approach helps make speech therapy a positive experience where children feel encouraged and empowered to develop their communication skills.
